Alexander Mittmann, born in 1969 and German and British citizen, is Rechtsanwalt (German attorney) in Hamburg and Avocat à la Cour (French attorney admitted to the Paris bar). He is a sworn translator for the French language (Hamburg).

Alexander is the counsel of choice of the French Consulate-General in Hamburg.

Before the creation of the law firm Mittmann, Alexander has been partner in several medium-sized law firms in France and in Germany.

Alexander has studied law at the universities of Hamburg, Aix-en-Provence, Paris and London. He holds a diplôme d’études approfondies in private international law and international commercial law of the university Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a Master of Laws in International Intellectual Property Law of the University of London (University College London and Queen Mary).

Alexander has been assistant professor at the Institute for comparative law of the university Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) and holds a PhD on the international sale of goods of the university of Hamburg.
