Legal translations French / German / French

Done by a lawyer and sworn translator.

Translations

Do you need a specialised legal translation of, for example, a contract, general terms and conditions, a judgment or a decision of an authority or similar? The translation is intended to be used before a court or authority? In this case, please do not hesitate to ask me for a quote.

As a sworn translator for the French language and a avocat (French lawyer) and Rechtsanwalt (German lawyer), I have the necessary qualifications to carry out an impeccable translation from French into German or vice versa. I regularly translate for the Hamburg District Court (Landgericht Hamburg) and have been a freelance translator for the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).

However, care should be taken when using translations. A translation cannot be used in the same way as the original, as the translation is used in a different legal context than the original. Such use requires legal adaptation, which can only be carried out by a lawyer. Of course, we also provide this service.
